Women’s A3 team defeated by North Adelaide

On Monday, 6th June, the A3’s played against North Adelaide on their home course. Unfortunately, Glenelg was defeated 5 – 0 by North Adelaide.

The girls were hanging in there on the front nine, but were bested on the day by North Adelaide players, who dropped long putts and pitched to within centimetres of the flag.

Jill Gehling, playing at number 5 lost 2/1 to her opponent.

Fiona Eblen, playing at number 4 lost 6/4 after a tough encounter.

Anne Marks played a close match, however, her oponent defeated her 2/1.

Cathy Darling lost 2/1 to her opponent after a tight contest.

Sue Tuohy, playing at number 1 was defeated 3/2.
