The final match for the A3 Women’s team was against Mt Osmond at Glenelg.
Mt Osmond were placed first and Glenelg was fourth coming into this match and we needed to beat them and a miracle for Kooyonga and North Adelaide to lose, for Glenelg to be in the semi-finals.
Fortunately the first part came true, we defeated Mt Osmond 3-2, but unfortunately for us, Kooyonga and North Adelaide both won their final round, leaving them to play the semi-final against the two top teams in Pool A.
Sue Tuohy defeated Penny Mathews 3/1.
Cathy Darling was Square against Cjay Taylor.
Fiona Eblen was Square against Jenny Butcher.
Jill Gehling defeated Julie Lovell 3/1.
Imelda Lynch lost to Juliet Cully 1 down.
The Glenelg team played well and I was very pleased and proud of their efforts over the season.
