Sharp Cup team defeat The Grange in close contest

A solid 3 – 2 win against The Grange at The Grange sees Glenelg with a guaranteed spot in the Sharp Cup Final with one round of regular season to play.

Jack Tanner and Frank Vucic playing at number 1 and 2 respectively had matches with numerous changes in momentum. But unfortunately were both unable to secure a win, finishing 1 down.

At number 3 Harry Burner played a solid match against a quality opponent. Harry used his excellent knowledge of the course to secure a 4/3 win against his old Club.

The always reliable Jacob Rillotta played at number 4 and with excellent golf and won 3/2 against a tough opponent.

Marcus Kuys played at number 5 and with quality disciplined golf won his match 4/3.

Next Sunday the Team plays Kooyonga at Willunga, a match that the boys would greatly like to win to remain undefeated for the season and to set the tone for the upcoming final.
