Report by Sue Tuohy (Team Manager)
Glenelg had a great 5 – 0 win over Tea Tree Gully at Kooyonga Golf Club.
Emma Sutton playing at number 1 won 7/6 after being 5 up at the turn. Great Job.
This was followed by Cathy Symons playing at number 3, who won 6/5 after winning 4 holes in a row from the 10th onwards.
Playing at number 4, Bec Hughes won 3/2 after some consistent golf.
This was followed by Louise Pike playing at number 5, who won 3/1 after a very tight match and Louise’s first win for the season.
The remaining match was Sam White who won 2/1 after a well fought duel with her opponent.
Unfortunately it does not look possible for the team to reach the finals but we could cause an upset by beating Royal Adelaide (leading the A2 ladder) next week at Tea Tree Gully. Good luck girls.
