Convincing win for Pike Cup team

Glenelg had a convincing win against the top team The Vines, winning 4 games to 1 at Glenelg.

Bec Hughes playing at number 5 was 7 up after 9 holes but lost the 10th and 11th holes. She birdied the 12th to go 6 up, eventually winning 6 and 5.

Wendy Greig had an indifferent day with a few wayward tee shots, eventually losing 6/4.

Cathy Symons had a convincing win of 7/6 playing some great golf.

That left Sam White and Emma Sutton to ensure the win for Glenelg.

Sam White was up all day to eventually win 3 and 2.

After 11 holes Emma Sutton was 4 up but was pegged back to 1 up after 14. She won the 15th and then had a magnificent putt on the 16th to halve the hole and to be 2 up with 2 to play. Unfortunately Emma lost the 17th, but played the 18th to halve the hole and win the match 1 up.
