Course Care: Recent Dry Weather

Members are asked to keep their buggies and carts away from areas of dry rough

Reports are beginning to be circulated within the media regarding the lack of rainfall Adelaide has received recently; something we have been very mindful of here at the Club for several months with rainfall 30% down on average.

As a result, many areas of unirrigated rough already resemble conditions more akin to late January, with grass coverage becoming very thin and exposing soft sand below. This makes these areas very vulnerable to wear and wheel marking, so we ask members and guests to keep buggies and carts within the irrigated areas (with better grass coverage) throughout the course.

In particular, areas defined with green and white stakes should be avoided at all times.

Thank you for your assistance in caring for the course.
