Glenelg's Liam Kennewell

Glenelg’s Liam Kennewell is in a tie for 3rd place with one round to play at the Srixon International Sub Junior Classic being held at Stonebridge Golf Club in NSW

Kennewell has played solid golf over the last couple of days to record rounds of 71,75, 79 to be at 7-over par.  He remains in a tie for 3rd place, although he sits 14 shots behind the leader, Queensland teen prodigy, Louis Dobbelaar, from Brookwater Country Club.

After the round today, Kennewell said he was disappointed with his golf form with some really poor golf played, but he was hopeful of a good one tomorrow.

Glenelg’s other representatives in the Sub Junior Classic event, Jack Buchanan and Jack Tanner, are both in a tie for 20th position

In the Srixon Junior International at Cypress Lakes Golf Club, Glenelg has been represented by Aaron Buchanan, Jake Rillotta and Marcus Kuys.  Out of a field of 156 players, Buchanan sits in a tie for 90th place, Rillotta in a tie for 105th and Kuys is a few shots further back in 117th place.  All three are chasing The Australian’s Blake Windred, who holds an eight-shot lead at 13 under par for the tournament.
