Glenelg has won the Pauline Sanderson Bowl on home soil, played today against Kooyonga Golf Club.
Eleven payers were selected by the Women’s sub-committee to represent Glenelg in the event and came away with a hard fought victory, 6 matches to 5.
The Pauline Sanderson Bowl is held twice per year – once at Kooyonga and once at Glenelg – and is named in honor of the SA Golf Industry Hall of Fame member. The event is a team handicap matchplay trophy for players with handicaps between 20 and 30.
Pauline Sanderson, as some may know, has had a long and illustrious career in SA golf and is a member of both Glenelg and Kooyonga. She was in attendance at the event to present the trophy to Glenelg.
