Glenelg’s Lachlan Booth has taken his 2012 form into the new year, with victory in the 2013 Tea Tree Gully Junior Vardon.
After a four over par 75 in the morning round, Booth stormed home with a one under par 70, to defeat Thaxted Park member, Kieren Barratt. Glenelg’s Jake Hurst finished in 4th position with scores of 73, 76 while Sam Raschella and Haydn Booth finished inside the top 10.
Tea Tree Gully’s Chris Austin won the senior vardon in a three way playoff from Grange’s Chris Brown and Kooyonga’s Tim Baker. Lachlan Booth was the highest placed Glenelg member, finishing 7th.
