Glenelg 1.5 lost to West Lakes 3.5

How terribly disappointing, we were defeated by West Lakes 1.5 to 3.5, this score does not reflect the knife edge finish.

On about the 13th hole we received news that our A2 Pennant Team had won their finals and at that stage we were one game down, with Wendy Vaughan defeated by Deidre Day 4 and 3. Also at that time Janet Fleer was 4 up with four to play against Trisha Clutterham, finally winning 1 up. After our remaining three matches had finished 18 holes, they were forced to take their matches down the 19^th for a result, and unfortunately the results did not go our way. Cheryl Franzi was defeated by Sue Clark 1 down, and Peggy Lau Flux was defeated by Annette Hubbard 1 down, Sandy Dolman finished  all square with Janet Pratt.

I am so proud of my team, they were 3^rd on the playing ladder just two weeks ago, but they made it to the finals and gave their all.
