Glenelg 1 lost to Grange 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately this week’s result was not what the group was hoping for.\u00a0Looking closer at the results of each match however, there were some positives, with two matches halved and another going down the 18th hole. The most glaring difference during Sunday’s match was the Grange team’s ability to get up and down around the greens and save holes. With the significant amount of resources at the disposal of\u00a0Junior Members at Glenelg,\u00a0this result is very disappointing and the group now needs to step up and improve over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

Match summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mitch Taht was in his match for 9 holes however his opponent got on top quickly and disposed of Mitch 5\/4.<\/p>\n

Braeden Kelly stepped up to number two this week and put in a fantastic effort, with a tight content finishing all square.<\/p>\n

Sam Raschella was never in his match while his opponent played solid golf all day. All credit must go to Grange winning this match 5\/4.<\/p>\n

Todd Williams struggled for most of the day but somehow managed to take his match down the 18th hole, eventually losing 2 down.<\/p>\n

Jake Hurst was\u00a0two down on the 17th tee –\u00a0he was\u00a0asked to lift for the team and find a half, which he proceeded to do, finishing all square.<\/p>\n
