The results were approximately 50% in favour and 50% not in favour.<\/p>\n<p>However, as I\u2019m sure you are all now aware, time sheets will be introduced permanently until 2:00pm every day, unless otherwise advised.\u00a0 Two tee starts on Saturdays will remain as they currently are.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0There are a few issues we, and you, have identified:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The problem of 9-holers mixed up on the field has been addressed. There will be an option when you book to choose either 9 or 18 holes, which will then be displayed on the time sheet.<\/li>\n<li>The problem of cancellations or no shows is our major concern. \u00a0We have decided the best way to address this is the following\n<ul>\n<li>Bookings in the Winter Season will be on an individual basis or a maximum of one group of three<\/li>\n<li>The Pro Shop will fill cancellations from a waiting list or by moving players up, through until Monday evening.<\/li>\n<li>Your Committee member in the Tee Box will deal with any cancellationsno shows on a Tuesday morning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This will mean a number of things \u2013<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you require a time that is currently booked you may place your name on the waiting list and nominate the time frame you need.<\/li>\n<li>On a Tuesday competition day, you may not end up in the group you booked with. If gaps are NOT filled by the waiting list or late arrivals without a booking, you may be asked to move to the group in front. The Committee Member who is on duty in the Tee Box will handle this.\u00a0 Please help them out by arriving a little early and accepting a move if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Winter Conditions<\/h2>\n<p>Winter Conditions will be posted on the notice board in our change room and also on the Club&#8217;s website.\u00a0 Please familiarize yourself with them.\u00a0 Some pertinent points are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All Players competing on a Tuesday BEFORE 11.30am MUST ENTER THE WOMEN\u2019S COMPETITION.<\/li>\n<li>Players wishing to play in the 9-hole competition may hit-off from 10:00am.\n<ul>\n<li>Players in the 9 hole competition play Stableford on days when a Stroke competition is programmed for the 18-hole competitors. When Stableford or Par is programmed, 9-hole competitors play the same competition of the day.<\/li>\n<li>Players on handicaps of 40 or over will not play in a stroke competition on a Tuesday. Such players will play a Stableford competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Board Events<\/h2>\n<p>Laurel Wreath, Captain\u2019s Trophy, Veterans and Presidents Foursomes are all events with qualifying rounds shortly and on going rounds played over the winter season.<\/p>\n<p>Please ensure, if you enter these events, you are available to play on a number of days over the entire season.<\/p>\n<h2>Interclub Events<\/h2>\n<p>A1 and A2 Pennant squad members have been selected and Cleek will be selected shortly &#8211; good luck to all those girls for the coming season.<\/p>\n<p>We have interclub events against Royal Adelaide, Kooyonga and The Grange. Please check the dates of these in your program books. If you are available and eligible put your name on the entry sheets. These will appear on the notice board about six weeks ahead of the event \u2013 they are fun and a great way to play other courses and meet women from other clubs. The first of these is the Royal Adelaide Bronze Challenge on Monday, 30th March at Royal Adelaide and is open to girls with GA Handicaps between 15 and 25 \u2013 the sheet is on the board.<\/p>\n<p>The next is a Foursomes event against The Grange on Thursday 14th May \u2013\u00a0 this sheet is up early.
