\"\"<\/a>Glenelg’s Lachlan Barker has started his 2015 junior golf campaign strongly with a tied 2nd place finish in the prestigious Golf SA Junior Masters played at Royal Adelaide this week.<\/p>\n

Barker was the leading South Australian in the 72 hole stroke event at 5-over the card, falling only two shots shy of the winner, Redcliffe Golf Club’s Douglas Klein.\u00a0 Fellow Glenelg member, Will Starkey, also performed well, finishing the tournament in 6th position, giving Glenelg’s juniors the top two SA placings in the event.\u00a0 Royal Adelaide’s Billy Cawthorne was the third best placed SA representative, tied for 8th place.<\/p>\n

Other Glenelg representatives to fair well in the tournament were Ben Layton, who finished in 16th place, and Liam Kennewell, who rounded out the top 30 placings.<\/p>\n
