Elysia Yap &amp; Campbell Rawson\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.glenelggolf.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/MG_1535-e1417994248481.jpg\" width=\"530\" \/><\/a>2014 Club Champion, Campbell Rawson, and Women&#8217;s Open Championship runner-up, Elysia Yap, have combined to defend their 2013 title in the 2014 Club Mixed Foursomes Championships played on Sunday at Glenelg.<\/p>\n<p>In windy, but clear weather conditions, Rawson and Yap played almost faultless golf to fire an even-par 71 to claim the Mixed Foursomes trophy by nine shots from runners-up, Jess Burns and John Noble.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Playing from the 10th tee, the pairing had a solid start to be one under through five holes.\u00a0 After bogeys at holes 15, 16 and 17, a solid birdie up 18 allowed the pairing to refocus and with birdies at holes 2 and 4, saw them post a one-under second nine and claim victory.<\/p>\n<p>Glenelg&#8217;s Pro Shop Manager, Matt Hickman, combined with Kym Dean to win the best net with a score of 68.5.<\/p>\n<p class=\"highlight\"><a class=\"pdfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.glenelggolf.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/PDF_Documents\/2014_Prizelist_Challenge__Club.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">View results from the Club Mixed Foursomes &amp; Whitford Challenge<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2014 Club Champion, Campbell Rawson, and Women&#8217;s Open Championship runner-up, Elysia Yap, have combined to defend their 2013 title in the 2014 Club Mixed Foursomes Championships played on Sunday at Glenelg.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":22,"featured_media":7347,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[15,31],"tags":[261,173,106,125],"class_list":["post-7346","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-guests-news","category-womens-news","tag-2014-events","tag-campbell-rawson","tag-elysia-yap","tag-mixed-foursomes-championships"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
