AFRIYEA Golf Academy in Uganda supports young people to learn golf and care for the environment. I have been in contact with Isaiah Mwesige over the last year or so and have been part of their Transnational support network – which includes people from the UK and the US. The academy received an honourable mention in the 2023 international Environmental Golf Awards earlier this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A month or so ago, AFRIYEA started a Kids Golf Podcast – where kids interview kids. Rod Morri, who writes for Golf Australia, is also part of the support network and recently wrote an article about the podcast. To read the article please click here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Academy asked me to recommend a junior from our club to be the first child interviewed from Australia. Adam and Marcus suggested that I put forward Jayneil.
