Glenelg’s Women’s A2 pennant side defeated The Vines, three matches to two, in the second round match played at Grange on Monday.<\/p>\n

Sarah Griffiths won her match after being three down – a great effort and a good way to celebrate her birthday.\u00a0 Sam White maintained her “unbeaten” pennant record with a 3\/1 win, following her squared match last week, and once again, Sue Raggatt won her match in convincing style.<\/p>\n

Both Sue Tuohy and Cathy Johnson fought hard in their matches, but eventually went down to stronger opponents.<\/p>\n

The team is looking forward to meeting Royal Adelaide in round three next Monday at Blackwood Golf Club.<\/p>\n
