{"id":390,"date":"2012-01-18T15:39:25","date_gmt":"2012-01-18T05:09:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glenelggolf.com\/cms\/?p=390"},"modified":"2023-06-20T15:45:03","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:15:03","slug":"booking-sheets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.glenelggolf.com\/cms\/2012\/01\/booking-sheets\/","title":{"rendered":"Booking Sheets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under the Club\u2019s current policy, online booking sheets may be implemented at times when \u2018heavy traffic\u2019 conditions are anticipated.<\/p>\n<p>Last February, we averaged over 220 players in Saturday competitions, with three Saturdays reaching 230 players. We consider this meets the condition of \u2018heavy traffic\u2019. \u00a0Sunday morning is now also recognised as a \u2018heavy traffic\u2019 condition, with members and their guests experiencing up to 9 balls in the race upon arrival.<\/p>\n<p>Having identified these anticipated \u2018heavy traffic\u2019 conditions, online booking sheets will be implemented throughout the month of February on all Saturdays and Sunday mornings. \u00a0February Online Booking Sheets will open 8 days prior at 3:00pm.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">For example:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Saturday, 4th February: \u00a0Online booking sheets will open on Friday, 27th January at 3pm. <br \/>Saturday booking sheets will commence at a time that relates to the decreasing daylight hours (at present 6am) through to 1.30pm<br \/>Sunday booking sheets will open under the same conditions outlined above however will run through until 10:00am. Juniors will have preferential rights on the tee from 9.30am until 10:00am.<\/p>\n<p>The Golf Operations\u00a0Team will be closely monitoring the implementation of and members\u2019 use of booking sheets throughout February.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Rules &amp; Policies<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Online booking sheets for regular competitions will open 8 days prior at 3:00pm. Online booking sheets for special events will open at a time that best suits the event or competition.<\/p>\n<p>Players may book themselves and a maximum of 3 other players only. Booked players who fail to meet a booked time and fail to provide notice:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1st offence \u2013 Reminder Letter<br \/>\u2022 2nd offence \u2013 Warning Letter<br \/>\u2022 3rd offence \u2013 Playing Rights suspended for a period of 2 weeks<br \/>\u2022 4th and subsequent offences \u2013 Playing Rights suspended for a period of 1 month<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Under the Club\u2019s current policy, online booking sheets may be implemented at times when \u2018heavy traffic\u2019 conditions are anticipated.
