Dear Members,<\/p>\n

\n<\/p>\n

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying some sunshine, exercise and golf through this challenging period. We continue to operate in a 2-ball which has been directive from the Government and Golf Australia, if we and other South Australian Clubs choose to remain open. Committee and Management assure you that we are taking all precautions to ensure our golf course can remain open as long as possible. \u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

I provide a short update in relation to new changes implemented from today.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Driving Range<\/h3>\n

Two clearly marked hitting bays exclusively for Members will be set up on the Eastern side of the driving range 10m apart. Another two clearly marked hitting bays will be positioned 10m apart on the Western side of the driving range in front of the teaching hut. Our PGA Coaching Team will have priority whilst giving lessons. All Members are limited to hitting one bucket only per day at this stage.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Practice Green<\/h3>\n

The practice putting greens and chipping areas have been divided into sections. Each section must have no more than two\u00a0Members at any one time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sand Buckets & Range Buckets<\/h3>\n

We encourage Members to bring their own sand bucket and\/or range bucket from home each time they play, therefore avoiding use of the Club\u2019s buckets. If using the buckets on site, please return to the designated areas so that buckets are only used by one person per day. We are currently sanitising all buckets every day to ensure Member safety.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Golf Carts<\/h3>\n

Golf carts are also being cleaned and sanitised on a regular basis. We remind Members to collect all personal items and rubbish prior to returning the cart to the Pro Shop.\u00a0<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6th<\/sup> Hole – Closure<\/h3>\n

From Monday 6th<\/sup> April 2020 the 6th<\/sup>\u00a0hole will be out of play as there is some major bunker work occurring directly in the line of play. The 19th<\/sup>\u00a0spare hole will replace the 6th<\/sup>\u00a0hole for a period of one week.<\/p>\n

A reminder that a white line has been painted around bunker surrounds on other holes to give the sod surrounding newly renovated bunkers time to re-establish. The areas inside the white painted line will be classified \u2018No Play Zone\u2019 and free relief may be taken under rule 16.1.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All golfers should continue to exhibit a heightened awareness of personal hygiene, as has been encouraged by state and federal health departments. Members are free to choose whether they play golf but we remind you to consider your own personal risk factors including age and health. The Government continue to advise people in high risk categories to stay at home in the current circumstances.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I would like to thank all Members for your understanding through the rapidly changing rules and Club operations. You have all been extremely co-operative and accommodating given the unprecedented situation. Please continue to enjoy your golf and please stay safe.<\/p>\n
