We only managed a half against them in the opening round so we were out for revenge and to finish a disappointing season on a high. A great effort from all players gave us a 4.5 \u2013 0.5 win \u2013 unfortunately too late in the season but a great finale.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jill Hodge, <\/strong>again played at number 5 and got off to a great start. She was 2 up after 4 and 6 up after 8. Her opponent had a birdie and Jill a couple of bogeys and it was back to 3 up after 12. Jill was able to win the next 2 for a great 5\/4 win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matilda Wheare, <\/strong>at number 4, had a slow start and was square after 4 holes but then found her form and edged away to be 2 up after 8 and closed out her match 4\/2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charley Jacobs, <\/strong>at number 3 also had a slow start and was square after 4 but won 3 of the next 4 to be 3 up after 8, 5 up after 10 and a winner at 6\/5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Crocker <\/strong>at number 2 just went about her business as usual. She was 3 up after 4, 4 up after 8, 6 up after 10 and an emphatic 8\/6 winner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elysia Yap<\/strong>, at number 1, had a tougher day. She was 1 down after 4 and still 1 down after 10. A couple of poor holes saw her 3 down after 12. Elysia then battled magnificently to have wins on 13, 15, 16 and 17 be 1 up going down the last.\u00a0 She had a great drive but an errant 2<sup>nd<\/sup> saw her knee deep in sour sobs.
