Report by Gary Edwards (Team Manager)<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Our last match and as it turned out probably our toughest for the season, defeating Kooyonga 3.5 \u2013 1.5 at The Grange. This could easily have been a stronger result.<\/p>\n

Darcy Burns<\/strong> playing at no. 5 squared his match. Having played less than a year, Darcy has come so far in such a short time. He backed up his form from last week\u2019s win to only fall short on the 18th green for another victory. Looking forward to seeing where you\u2019re at by years end.<\/p>\n

Shakira Kuys<\/strong> playing at no. 4 won 4\/2.\u00a0You can’t help but love Shakira, but as many an opposition has found out… at your own peril. Shakira played solid through nine, then as usual separated herself from her opponent early in the back nine. Outstanding season without a loss.<\/p>\n

Calvin Perks<\/strong> playing at no. 3 halved his match. A\u00a0good result by Cal given his challenges. Some solid driving and fairway play made sure he was around the mark all day, and he was unlucky not to have a win. Always impressive till the end, with today no exception.<\/p>\n

Mitch Ward<\/strong> playing at no. 2 squared his match. Just one of those competitors that leaves nothing out there. Mitch was very unlucky on 11 not to have a hole in one with a great shot! Arriving at 18 at 1 up Mitch would probably describe this hole as one of the most interesting he\u2019s ever played. He finished square after a tough fought battle.<\/p>\n

Harry Edwards<\/strong> playing at no. 1 had a 1 up win. A strong result from the youngster in our group. He was critical of his game all day but managed to get the win on 18. A job well done after a see sawing day.<\/p>\n

Again as through the whole season you have all represented the Club and yourselves flawlessly.<\/p>\n

To our other playing team members\u00a0Josh Gumm, Locky Redden,\u00a0Kane Hyams and Lachlan Murphy, thanks for your efforts and results. It’s been a great team effort.<\/p>\n

To say I’ve enjoyed our journey over the last 6 weeks is an understatement. For all the parents: Andre, John, Christine & Jerry, Ashley, Craig, Leanne and also Kane, Harry, Lachlan and other family and friends, a big thank you for all your support.<\/p>\n

To the whole team at Glenelg Golf Club you do an amazing job. Thankyou from us all.<\/p>\n
