Unfortunately even wins in the next 2 weeks will not ensure we make finals.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Charley Jacobs, <\/strong>was playing at number 5 but was the last to finish and ensured we halved the day.<strong> \u00a0<\/strong>Charley was down 2 holes early. She steadied but was still 2 down after 13 until she won 3 holes in a row to be square after 16. An error at 17 saw Charley 1 down playing the last\u00a0 &#8211; a well played par saw her win the hole and halve her match.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Matilda Wheare, <\/strong>at number 4, against a very hot opponent 3 under the card after 4 holes found herself 5 down after 9.\u00a0 Despite a very emotional week farewelling her Grandfather Tilly played good golf but could not overcome such a start and went down 8\/6.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Sarah Crocker <\/strong>was at number 3 this week against her State Team Captain. Sarah was square after 9 but was pipped at the post to go down 3\/2.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Jill Hodge, <\/strong>at number 2 should have been square after 9 but a 3 putt saw her 1 down. Clearly this got Jill going and she won the next 2 holes, maintained her lead and closed her match out 4\/3.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Elysia Yap<\/strong>, at number 1, continued her Club Championship winning form to take an early 3 up lead after 6 and 5 up after 9.
