{"id":13380,"date":"2016-06-07T12:52:58","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T03:22:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.glenelggolf.com\/cms\/?p=13380"},"modified":"2023-06-20T15:44:02","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:14:02","slug":"pike-cup-team-defeated-in-round-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.glenelggolf.com\/cms\/2016\/06\/pike-cup-team-defeated-in-round-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Pike Cup team defeated in round 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Report by Sue Tuohy (Team Manager)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fiona Pike Cup team suffered a disappointing loss to Kooyonga at The Vines Golf Club, 1.5 matches to 3.5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cathy Symons<\/strong>, playing at No 5 had a great win of 5\/3 after a very tight front nine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sam White<\/strong>, playing at No 1 lost her match 4\/2 to a steadier opponent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma Sutton<\/strong>, playing at No. 2 lost 3\/2, but her opponent holed some monster putts to halve holes that Emma was expecting to win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Louise Pike<\/strong> battled hard after being 4 down after 4 holes to go on to lose 3\/1.
