\"A3\"Report by Joy Green (Team Manager)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The women’s A3 team played at Kooyonga GC on Monday, and defeated Highercombe 4.5 – 0.5.<\/p>\n

The Glenelg girls started out strongly against Highercombe with four out of the five matches up at the end of the front nine.<\/p>\n

Jill Gehling<\/strong> was the first to finish, 7\/6 on the 11th after playing the substitute 19th hole.<\/p>\n

Fiona Eblen<\/strong> played a great match, and defeated her opponent 6\/4.<\/p>\n

Heather Waddy<\/strong> also finished 6\/4, which secured the win for Glenelg.<\/p>\n

Cathy Darling<\/strong> won 2up after her match finished on the 18th hole.<\/p>\n

Sue Tuohy<\/strong> fought back from 1 down to halve her match.<\/p>\n

All players were exceptional and a win of 4.5 to 0.5 now puts Glenelg’s A3 team in second place.<\/p>\n
