Hole 4 Information

The 4th is a challenging short par 4 with an open character, attractive and strategic bunkering designed for clear decision making and execution by all skills of golfers. 

A small pot bunker has been placed in the middle of the fairway; some 20-25 metres short of the huge hybrid fairway bunker on the left side. On the right a joint fairway with the 5th hole seems forgiving but can often be an unfavourable position to approach any pins on the centre or left side of this green.  

For the longer hitter the fairway narrows down quickly between a large hybrid bunker and seasonal sandy health on the right making you think about a lay up option off the tee.   

The green appears very subtle but a spine through the middle dictates where a good miss might be. The deep front centre bunker will swallow up many short approaches and the back right bunker helps the front right of the green appear as though it’s hanging out there on its own.
