Temporary Local Rules and No Play Zone

With the Course reopening on Saturday 25th November following renovations, please note some changes to the Temporary Local Rules and the introduction of “No Play Zones”    

To be read in conjunction with “Applying the Local Rules

Scarified Turf and Aeration (core) Holes, When a ball comes to rest in an area recently scarified or cored, where there is interference to the lie of the ball, 

Preferred lie relief from where the ball lay may be taken by placing a ball within one ‘scorecard length’ (about 14cm), not nearer to the hole.

Once the ball has been placed and is at rest, it is in play and no further relief may be taken under this temporary local rule.

*Note that the Local Rule does not allow relief for line of play.

No Play Zone – Hole 1 – Hole 7

A “No Play Zone” will be located between the 1st fairway and 7th fairway.

A ball coming to rest in the area marked as “No Play Zone” free relief must be taken at the “Nearest Point” no nearer the hole.

No Play Zone – Hole 10

A “No Play Zone” will be located down the left-hand side of the 10th hole, just off the fairway, where irrigation works were completed.

A ball coming to rest in the area marked as “No Play Zone” free relief must be taken at the “Nearest Point” no nearer the hole.
