Glenelg Golf Club Inducted into ABIA Hall of Fame

Glenelg Golf Club (Pinehill at Glenelg) is honoured to be inducted into the ABIA Wedding Industry Hall of Fame. The ABIA Hall of Fame is awarded to wedding suppliers and venues who have won the ABIA state award five times. Ten wedding venues have ever been inducted into the Hall of Fame, two of which are clubs, with Glenelg Golf Club being the only Club in South Australia.

Lynn has worked with over 250 wedding couples since joining the team at Glenelg in 2012. She loves meeting people and having the opportunity to be a part of their special day, with many clients becoming personal friends. Her close relationship with suppliers means she can ensure every wedding delivers the best possible experience for all our guests.

Glenelg Golf Club is also the only club in South Australia to be awarded the National Designer of Dreams Award. Five venues in Australia have ever won this prestigious award, with only three winning it three years in a row. The National Designer of Dreams Award is a true representation of a business which encompasses consistent proficiency and excellence.

The Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) was established in 1996 to assist in setting standards in the free-for-all wedding marketplace. Each year ABIA host five State Annual ABIA Awards across the country.

All ABIA Winners & Finalists across 30+ categories are determined solely based on the ratings provided by the Past Brides & Grooms of Australia. Each year the ABIA Awards Program receives 25,000+ Wedding registrations, which are invited to rate & review their wedding vendors in the Quality of Product, Quality of Service, Attitude of Staff and Value for Money. 

The ABIA state algorithm automatically calculates the ratings of each vendor in the last 12-month nomination period, determining the ranking of all vendors in their respective categories. All businesses that qualify for the National ABIA Awards have been nominated over a 4 consecutive year period, achieving an average rating above 98% with its past wedding customers.
