The Queensland Men’s Amateur Championship were held on Thursday 27 & Friday 28 August at Arundel Hills Country Club.
Glenelg Golf Club junior star, Jack Tanner, had a very strong result and finished runner up after losing the final 3/1 to local player and 2018 champion, Louis Dobbelaar.
Jack finished the 4 rounds of qualifying at 1 under and tied for 4th. He defeated Elvis Smylie in the semi final who led qualifying by 9 shots at 21 under!
