On Tuesday 13th November City Mazda hosted our Hospitality Day. The weather was kind to us and the 107 ladies in the field enjoyed the different format of Canadian Foursomes.
Phil Greig, past General Manager of City Mazda, attended the day and was a welcome sight on the course as he and his helper Bob Loveday handed out drinks during the morning. The sparkling wine and Irish Cream were especially popular!
Once again City Mazda were very generous with their prizes with the Long Drive on the 18th and Nearest the Pin on the 3rd, 11th, 14th and 16th for all three grades as well as the competition of the day and lucky card draw and main Raffle.
The competition of the day winners were:
Third on a countback with 39 points – Sandy Francas and Sue Dob
Runners Up with 39 points – Sue Raggatt and Marilyn Lee
The Winners with a magnificent score of 43 points were Wendy Greig and Bec Hughes (pictured above with Phil Greig).

ere were also 5 pairs of Lucky Card winners and a main raffle prize.
Sandy Francas (left) was the lucky winner of the main prize of a night’s accommodation for 2 in a King Spa Suite at Links Lady Bay Resort and a round of golf with a cart. To get there Mazda is supplying a Mazda car for the weekend.
The ladies greatly appreciate the generosity of City Mazda and were pleased to hear that City Mazda will again sponsor the day in 2019.
