Glenelg Claims National Bridal Industry Award

Glenelg has claimed the Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) award for Best Club Reception Venue in Australia two years running, at a glittering presentation dinner held at the Star Casino on the Gold Coast on Tuesday night.

To qualify as an ABIA National Finalist or Winner is an outstanding achievement as it represents consistency in high quality products, services and great customer satisfaction.  

All businesses that qualified have received exceptional ratings every year over the past four consecutive years.

The award cements the Club’s position as one of the leading wedding reception venues in Australia, and the Club was up against quality competition, including The Grange Golf Club and Renmark Club.

Our Events Manager, Lynn Kschammer, Chefs Stephanie and Alistair, were at the award ceremony to receive the award. The award is deserved recognition for the Club’s outstanding food and beverage team who continue to deliver 5-star service here at Glenelg Golf Club.

It was wonderful to be announced as the Winner – Best Club Reception in all of Australia on Tuesday! Over the past 4 years, 102,293 newlyweds have taken the time to nominate and provide feedback for 3,712 wedding businesses in the Four Pillars of Perfection: Quality of Product, Quality of Service, Value for Money and Attitude of Staff.  It was these nominations and ratings which determined the 316 Finalists, all which competed for Australia’s most prestigious wedding industry award.
