The Cleek 2 Team celebrated their first match for the season at The Stirling Golf Club with a 3/2 win against Westward Ho.
The rain held off until the last few holes but the course proved very challenging with its sloping fairways and leaf-covered greens.
Frances Macpherson obviously relished the conditions with a 6/5 win, while Jill McDonald and Des Carey both had 2/1 wins. The two matches we lost were both hard fought contests and one of them went to the 18th hole.
