_DB_5075Report by Paul Grosvenor (Team Manager)

The Sharp Cup boys had an exceptional 4-1 win against Kooyonga at Willunga on Sunday. The course was presented in excellent condition and allowed for some quality competitive golf to be played.

At number one Harry Burner had a tough match on his hands against Oscar Moss, who has been a solid top order player for Kooyonga all year. Harry fought hard and played some good golf but lost 3/2.

Jack Tanner playing at number two had a good 2/1 win over James Percy, with quality golf played by both players throughout the match.

At number three Frank Vucic had a solid 4/3 win over Jake Eadie. Frank hit some very solid golf shots on his way to the win.

Jake Rillotta had a good 3/2 win over Maddie Fitzpatrick at number four. Jake played disciplined golf to ensure his 4th win of the season. Well done Jake!

At number five Marcus Kuys had a great 9/8 win over Aarmis Keros. Marcus played some great golf and was in control of his match all day. Ensuring for the third time this year his match was the team’s first win of the day. Awesome work Marcus!

Thank you to the caddies and spectators who made the trek to Willunga to support the boys, your support and effort is greatly appreciated.

This concludes the regular season with Glenelg being atop of the Sharp Cup Table having an undefeated season winning all four rounds. The boys are off to The Grange to play Country Districts in the Final this Sunday. The boys are very excited to be playing in the Final and can’t wait to get out there and represent Glenelg! #TeamGlenelg
