On top of traditional membership options, we are re-evaluating the way we do business by offering modern day membership options in response to the changing needs of the modern day market.
Women's Try Golf Membership
Women's Try Golf membership is designed to encourage greater participation of women in the game of golf and to assist in the development of female golfers to prepare for long term membership opportunities at Glenelg Golf Club. Membership in this category is restricted to two (2) years from the date of commencement.
Eligibility
Open to females over the age of eighteen (18) years nominated by two playing members of the Club that have successfully progressed through any of the Try Golf Programs. Women may also be introduced by the Women's Sub Committee.
Playing Rights
Try Golf members can play at the following times:

Sunday after 12:00pm

Monday all day
-
Tuesday all day
-
Thursday all day
-
Friday after 12:00pm
-
Twilight events during daylight saving period
-
No play Wednesday or Saturday.

Casual Pay as You Play (PAYP) Membership
Eligibility
Open to any person over the age of eighteen (18) years nominated by two playing members of the club.
Playing rights
Casual (PAYP) members can play an unlimited number of rounds, paying the applicable green fee at the following times:

Sunday after 10:00am

Monday all day
-
Tuesday after 1:30pm

Thursday all day
-
Friday all day
-
No play Wednesday or Saturday

Twilight events during daylights saving period.
Transferability
Casual (PAYP) members may transfer to another playing category of membership for which there is a higher entrance fee and annual subscription. The difference between the entrance fees must be paid upon membership transfer. Waiting list requirements still apply when transferring to another category.

Social Membership
No Risk - Trial Membership!
Social Membership is available to those on the waiting list to join Glenelg Golf Club. It gives you the opportunity to make use of the Club's facilities whilst waiting to become a member. Social membership is a good way to become familiar with the way the Club operates, and to decide whether or not membership at Glenelg Golf Club is what you are looking for.
Entitlements
-
May play nine (9) rounds of golf per membership year as a visitor (normally restricted to six) at a reduced green fee of $45.00 per round, without being signed in by a member.

No use of the course on Saturdays and not between 9:30am and 10:00am on Sundays.

Use of the Club's practice facilities providing you join the Club Professional's range membership.

Unrestricted play in Twilight competitions.

Social members are entitled to introduce one (1) guest to the course at any one time.

Social Members are entitled to hold a Golf Australia handicap.

Social Members must be on the Provisional Membership waiting list (conditions apply).

Corporate Golf Membership
With access to a private championship golf course, practice and members’ facilities and state of the art corporate function facilities, Corporate Membership provides you with a platform to entertain clients and discuss business both on and off the course.
