Benefits of being a member
Be a part of one of Australia’s premier golf clubs and experience a wide range of benefits both on and off the course.
As a popular entertainment precinct, we provide a relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy company with family, friends and colleagues. Our Pinehill Bistro & Balcony Bar have stunning panoramic views across the golf course and towards the Adelaide Hills, perfectly complementing the menus prepared by our experienced culinary team.
Pinehill Bistro is open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00pm to 2:30pm, and for dinner Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings until 8:30pm. Bookings are essential. Phone (08) 8350 3212.
As outlined on previous pages, access to one of Australia’s premier golf courses is just one of the benefits of being a member of Glenelg Golf Club.
The Club has a fleet of 20 golf carts available for hire. Bookings must be made through the Pro Shop and are available at a reduced rate for members.
The Club has first rate practice facilities. Range membership options are available for the Santa Ana couch driving range, and all members have access to a world class short game facility and warm up nets.
If a member nominates Glenelg Golf Club as their home club, we will maintain your official Golf Australia handicap. The applicable fee is covered in your annual membership subscriptions.
As part of your membership, you are able to play a number of other world class golf courses. We have reciprocity with clubs such as Woodlands and 13th Beach (VIC), Lake Karrinyup (WA), Sanctuary Cove (QLD), Clearwater Resort (NZ) and Cruden Bay (Scotland), to name just a few. We are also a member of the Pacific Links International group which provides access to over 25 international golf courses in the Asia-Pacific region.
Competitions are available to play in every day of the week with major competitions held on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Women also have a dedicated competition on Tuesday mornings.
Full members are entitled to invite up to three (3) guests to accompany them on the course. Guests will be charged the member introduced rate. Other membership categories also have member guest entitlements. Contact the Club for more information.
A member who nominates Glenelg Golf Club as their home club will be covered under a Personal Insurance Plan.

If there is one thing that sets us apart from other clubs, it is the warm, friendly and inviting ambience. A number of social events are held throughout the year providing a great opportunity to meet new faces and mix with other members. Whether it is at weekly twilight golf events during daylight savings, annual night golf, ambrose events or business networking lunches, there are social activities to suit everyone’s individual requirements.
